So heres an opinion question is Should adultery be a crime The government thinks so What about you Now Im assuming youre talking about the Indian government Well I dont want to get into adultery And whether thats right or wrong good or bad thats thats for each individual to decide what they think is right for them or what not But I think this is an important thing about government overreach Right There are personal freedoms their personal decisions and at some point is the government going too far in controlling what you can or cant do or should or shouldnt do And thats the question you really want to be asking and in my personal experience and part of it is you know just where I live and my upbringing I think there should be a very clear separation between the government and in individual on the individual should have certain rights that the government cannot impose their beliefs where their feelings were There Some majorities views upon right so and this could be about adultery It could be about religion It could be about reading a book right I firmly believe that there should be uh people should be free to read what they want And certain books though they may offend certain groups of people doesnt mean that they should be banned just because they offend certain types of people So I think their government should stop short of overreaching and telling people what they should or shouldnt do Governments job is to make sure that basic amenities provided to people food life liberty and the pursuit of happiness on that whole thing But yeah lets not tell people what they should or shouldnt do with their personal lives and especially when they dont have wider ramifications on the general public thats my point of view
